At Hamernick's our mission is to give you the best service, the best products and fair, honest pricing every day. Both our Design Center and our Mill-Direct Warehouse are locally owned and operated with a "hands on" approach. Our pledge to you is service, price and professional advice.

Our business continues to develop and thrive because of a few simple rules - we take care of our employees by providing a rewarding and growth-oriented work environment and we take care of our customers with our responsive and caring service and by providing them with quality products and installation.

Range of Services
The company is currently composed of four divisions - commercial contracting, residential design & decorating, mill-direct and paint. The main store currently houses the retail, paint and commercial contracting divisions. The mill-direct division is located one block from the main store.

History
Hamernick Decorating Center began as a small retail paint shop in 1946. The business has been commercially and culturally connected to Saint Paul's North End community for over 50 years. In 1999 Ted Natus, who had been the General Manager of Hamernick's for over 20 years, and his wife Lynn purchased the business from the Hamernick family. They kept the Hamernick name and made Hamernick's a member of the WBE (Women's Business Enterprise).
